What a thrill! My friend Trace loaned me his pneumatic rivet squeezer to do all these 1/8" solid rivets. This is after I had already squeezed 6 on my own. Whew! those are tough for me to hand squeeze. I love this pneumatic squeezer. It is way cool. Thanks Trace if you are reading this. If you ever want to borrow any of my tools let me know! This went really quick and they look very even and uniform. The test fit went good with little or no play in the hinge assemply. Now on to the tailcone skins. I am still a little worried about breaking the edges of all the skins. Of course I will start any way. I am having a great time building this kit. Again I give Van's HIGH PRAISE for the clear plans and quality kit parts. Any parts I have had to order was due to my interpretation and error. Definately not theirs. More later.
