This thing might actually fly some day. Only had to drill out 3 rivets on this part to get it right. The key words here are getting it right. The real key is to read the instructions more than 6 times. I read them about 6 times before making a move and still had to drill out the three rivets. So, the plans are actually very well written and pretty easy to follow. This is my first kit airplane and I am learning everything as I go along. I do follow the VansAirforce forum page daily for hints and have picked up a lot of good tips. As you can see the skeleton is riveted together and is awaiting the hinges to be installed tomorrow. Then I will assemble the skins. I will have to order the wing kit soon since the latest word is there is a 16 week lead time. I may have some down time if I keep progressing this fast.
