Verfied amount of cut off aft edge of lower cowling. Since engine is canted to the right, the right rear edge has to be cut more than left, to the tuen of 10-15mm. Used Dremel cut-off wheel and trimed both left and right. Filed edges. Put cowling back on aircraft. Lower right edge need a little more cut off.

Watched (twice) HomeBuilt videos about attaching flaperons.
3.0 Hours
Marked the lower right cowl to be trimmed. Moved the outboard right flaperon to work table. Dressed plastic tip and marked for drilling. Trimmed nose to fit inside. Marked and pilot drilled conector pieces that connect the two flaperons together. Riveted outboard one. Marked center line on attach stubs on all four flaperons. Placed O/B flaperone onto right wing pivot arms and clamped. Used two pieces of 19 mm thick lumber (scrap 1X4) to space flaperon from wing. Placed I/B flaperon onto pivot arms and clamped. The space between inboard end of flaperon and fuselage is very thin. It will be out 1 washer thickness more when all attached.
