Brief Description:  Complete prep of aileron parts

Over several sessiona and ater priming aileron skins and riveting stiffeners, top skin ribs. Attached bottom skins to end ribs with two “keeper” rivets in each end rib. Clecoed nose skin to bottom skin and spar. Clecoed nose skin to bottom skin and spar. Set assemble on table such that the clecos holding the bottom skin and nose skin to spar were hanging off the edge of the table. Using cargo straps attached to eye screws in the edge of the table, pulled the nose skins into place and clecoed to top skins and spar. Weighted assembly down. Drilled top and bottom skins spar, nose skin to nose rib and top skin to rib holes to size. Fit trailing edge wedge and drilled. Drilled holes to attach rivet leading edge to stainless steel counter balance. Disassembled, deburred and dimpled all parts as required. Counter sunk trailing edge. Total estimated time for both ailerons – 10 hours
