Rivet reinforcement plates and nut plate to spar. Riveted nose ribs to spar and stainless steel counter balance to nose ribs. Clecoed top and bottom skins to end ribs and leading edged to top and bottom skins and spar. . Riveted the nose skin to nose ribs using squeezer. Riveted leading edged to counter balance tube using blind rivets. Constructed two saddles to hold aileron vertical for riveting skins to spar, leading edge down. Clamped saddles to table. Set aileron in saddle and riveted the top skins to the spar. Then riveted bottom skin to spar. Riveted top and bottom skins to end ribs. Had some difficulty with the rear most rivet due to limited clearance for bucking bar. Solved problem by grinding down edge on one bucking bar. Also purchased a bucking bar with a narrow tong. Use the latter to partially set the rivet and then finished with the former. Completed both ailerons to this point and set them aside. Will do trailing edges of ailerons and flaps together after assembling flaps.
