Brief Description: Rivet K1000-3 tank attachement plate-nuts to spar
My plan is to complete spar preparation including any tank related attachments that come up in later sections of the instruction. Riveted K1000-3 plate-nuts to rear spar webs of both spars counter sinking front to allow for tank attachment flush to spar. Counter sinking to two wholes near the spar flange required doing so without the counter sink cage because there was insufficient room. Accomplished this by taking the cage of the counter sinking tool. It was also difficult getting sufficient clearance for rivet gun. Now that I completed riveting, it occurs to me that back riveting may have been the solution, using a bucking bar on the manufactured head and a back riveting set to form the shop head.
