Brief Description: Empennage Completed (for time being)
Spent a considerable amount of time fitting the elevators to the horizontal stabilizer. Had work on some spots on the leading edge of elevators that were rubbing against either the rear spar of the horizontal stabilizer or a shop head on a rivet. I compreressed the rivet head some; it was somewhat higher than spec. and slightly reshaped the leading edge by hand. Had some concerns about the elevator horns not lining up but found instructions later in manual that states that this is the norm. At this point the empenage is complete except for the following items:Holes need to be drilled into the elevator horns to connect with the center barringAll fiber glass work needs to be completedRudder needs to be fit to verticle stabilizerTop end of rudder leading edge could be shaped better; has slight flat spot
