Left Elevator: Drilled the skin and horn. Deburred, dimpled. Primed. Riveted spar items. Found when I removed the blue plastic from the rear spar (just in front of the trim tab) that there is a deep, spar long gouge on the flanges, web side of the hole. I took some pictures, and will be asking Van's for a new part. Could maybe grind it out, but it would take all the alclad off, and potentially weaken the piece.
