Brief Description:  Test Fitting the Wings

The purpose of todays activity was to cut out the holes for the quick connect fittings from the wing tanks. I had to make the hole substantially long in the vertical direction to make the wing assembly process easier. This is why it looks like there is very little room at the top fitting and lots of room at the bottom fitting. Xin and I will each have a sore back tonight with all the test fitting. I think the best case scenario is 1 hour to get both wings attached, control linkages attached, and fuel connections together. Add 30 minutes to get it out of the trailer and another 30 minutes back into the trailer. So, on a given day I would budget 2 hours for just the unloading and loading process assuming you have 2 people. I think it would be virtually impossible to do with 1 person. So, based on todays experience, the flight testing will only occur on days where I can set aside 10 hours to get as many flights in as possible.
