Brief Description:  A&P Inspection

On Tuesday, July 15th Kevin Hess, a licensed A&P / IA spent 1 hour inspecting the aircraft, N5051C, to determine whether it was in airworthy condition. Prior to the inspect the safety wire for the aileron and rudder turnbuckles had not been applied. Additionally, the cable guards had not been installed to prevent the control cables from coming off the pulley's in the event that they became loose. At the conclusion of the inspection Kevin indicated that I needed safety wire for the turnbuckles and cable guards, both items which I anticipated he would menttion. Since the inspection I have installed the safety wire and the cable guards in the manner he prescribed.

“I certify that I am a builder of this aircraft, having constructed it for my education and recreation. I have completed all required inspections and tests, and have found this aircraft to be in a condition for safe operation, and ready for FAA airworthiness certification.”
