Brief Description:  Frame Primed and Reassembled

All of the sand blasting has been completed and all previous coats of paint have been removed. I applied two coats of etching primer and do not intend on painting the frame. If and when paint is scratched off the frame it will be easy to touch that area up. All the existing hardware and fairleads have been replaced with new ones. The pulleys are now permanently installed. All that remains is getting the frame back into the glider, installing the ruddervator cables and completing the seating. I decided the seating will be some heavy duty cloth and grommets, similar to the original hammock, that contours my back so that my head will clear the canopy. I expect my attention to shift toward the engine mount in about 1-2 weeks. I had a new instrument panel cut out on the waterjet (much quicker than making a new one by hand). It is similar to the original one, but moved some of the buttons around and made it 1/2" narrower to accomodate my legs. I am also expecting the Grand Rapids Technology EFIS Mini-X to arrive within the next 2 weeks.
