For both wing tips I wanted to reinforce them by adding a couple layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin. I redrilled out all the 3/32 rivet holes with 3/16 nut plates. Now the wing tip is removeable. And to all the naysayers and aerodynamic purists, yes there is some additional drag due to the non countersunk screws! I am really looking forward to seeing how the wing tip lights look in the dark. The right wing tip still has another 20 hours before the epoxy is cured.
