Brief Description: Left Wing Aileron Control Hardware Reassembled
The aileron control linkage was reassembled. The only original parts are the bearings and a couple of spacers. All of the lock nuts were tightened to 25 in-lbs of torque. The cotter pins for the castle nut did not arrive yet, so that is all the remains here. The alminum control rod was completely removed and cleaned. The aileron appears to move with half the friction (and noise) that it used to. Grease was added in a few places to help prevent future corrosion.
