Among todays activities included pulling all 3 aileron hinge pins, cleaning and greasing. Furthermore, I cut the 12" stainless 316 1/4-28 bar I had ordered from McMaster Carr to replace the rusted one, notice how the nut is rusted onto the threads. Lastly, I used my lathe to make some new spacers for the aileron bearing that connects to the bellcrank out of some aluminum ferrels I had in inventory. Notice the taper on the spacers (bearing side), this is very important to give the bearing full range of motion.
