Brief Description: Labels, Propeller Spinner, and Wing Assembly
The oil specification sticker was mounted to the inside of the dip stick access door.
The propeller arrived, so work on the spinner began. The first job was to drill bolt holes through the spinner front and rear bulkheads. A 2.250” diameter ring was turned on my lathe to center the prop hub to the bulkheads. With both bulkheads clamped to the hub and to the drill press, the hub served as a drill guide to insure the proper location and concentricity.
My neighbor came over to help carry the wings upstairs to the hangar, and mount them to the fuselage. The plane was exposed to the sun for the first time.
