My neighbor came over today to help me remove the wings from their assembly racks to tables, enabling me to finish up details on the inboard ends and assemble the wing tips later.
Today I focused on the flap up-stops and flap up springs. Both assembled easily with a simple departure from the Builder’s manual for the up-spring mount.
Again, I borrowed an idea from Brent Mayo, eliminating the spring mounting tabs, and simply drilling a small hole near the top of the Rib #1 vertical stiffener to mount the spring.
