Brief Description: Assembled Winglet to Horizontal Trim Fin
I completed the installation of the Co-Pilot Horizontal Trim Fin nut plate; installed the Horiz. Trim Fin and confirmed the correct position (7.3degrees) up angle (matching the tail boom) and that it was indeed level athwart ship. I measured the distance between the face of bulkhead number 3 and the center of the Horiz. Trim Fin support rods to be 6 1/4" NOT the 5 3/4" +- 1/8" as requested. I then called and left a message with technical service to discuss this with them. I fit the Pilot side Horiz Trim Fin with the wood block I fabricated earlier. I drilled holes & screwed the winglet in-place. I then fit the pilot side winglet to the Horiz. Trim Fin assembly. I drilled the holes that would secure this assembly and then mixed blade glue and glued the assembly together and fastened with counter sunk screws.
