Trimmed off the glass cloth and sanded the foam tip. Mixed up some epoxy filler and 'painted' the foam ribs. When this sets up I'll give it a quick sand and then leave it until all the fibreglass gets prepped prior to painting. I'll put the remaining fibreglass bits into storage with the rest of the empennage until they're needed for fitting to the fuselage, or until ready for final assembly. We've sandwiched the elevators and rudder between sheets of foam, wrapped them in an old sheet to keep insects out and then laid them flat in the attic. The HS and VS will be wrapped in sheets also and then stored in the hallway as noted previously. I like them there...
