A small milestone in the project!! The construction of the empennage is complete with the exception of one 'oops' rivet required for the trim tab and the fibreglass tips. I'm waiting for some high density foam to come in to make the rib for the tips and that won't be until the 11-Jan. I guess I have some downtime. I made some boo boos, and had plenty of frustration. My spray priming, whilst adequate, still sucks in my opinion and I could do with some extra guideance there. On the whole though, not too bad. Hopefully I can get the fibreglassing done and the workshop cleaned up before the wings arrive. I'll also take a look at the plans for the wing assembly jig: the two uprights are already in, so I'm halfway there at least. Until next time then...
