Completed assembly of the trim tab. Spent quite some time trying to work out how to set the rivets holding the hinge to the elevator. I just couldn't work around the trim tab easily and drilled out the same two rivets FIVE times before I gave up. I came inside to do a web search to see if someone else had the a solution; then I laughed out loud as I realised what an idiot I'd been; DOH!! So I went back to the workshop, removed the hinge pin and then squeezed those suckers. What a pillock. So, apart from having to order some 'oops' rivets for the two holes I screwed up while having my lengthy blonde moment, I'm done on the trim tab. I've decided to call it quits today and will look at fitting the l/h elevator to the horizontal stab tomorrow. Pillock. Oh, and in case you're wondering, no I don't really celebrate Christmas (long story), though the time off work is nice. For the first few days until I get bored anyway. At least I have something to do this year!! And now, my friends, a quick blast on Doom 3 to ease my current stress level a little! :-)
