Brief Description:  L/H elevator trim tabs

Finished deburring and dimpling the skin. Made up the blocks to bend the tabs where the trim tab will go. Marked and bent. The first (bottom) tab pushed up against the skin so I dremel'd a couple of mm off and cleaned it up. Second tab set nicely. We then spent ages cleaning off the double-sided tape that was used to help hold the forming blocks in place. Used my pop-rivet dimple die set from Avery to dimple the last two trim tab spar holes since the squeezer wouldn't reach and the C-frame was simply not gonna fly as the skin is already bent. Finally, a little extra spray primer on the inside where some of the original primer had been worn away and where I re-shaped the bottom tab. Had a family pre-Xmas BBQ to go to, which ended up as an inside buffet thanks to the rain. When we got home I finished dimpling and countersinking the remaining parts. Yesterday I ordered a 1½" squeezer yoke from Avery to allow me to squeeze in tight areas like access panels. Also a second #40 countersink for fibreglass only, and one or two other small bits and pieces. I hate to think how much I've spent on tools :-( [actually, since I log everything, I could find out, but I'm not going to!]
