Tried my hand at the first starter project. Didn't properly identify the rivets and countersunk a piece of angle where I shouldn't have. It'll be hidden by the skin. Also managed to put the skin back opposite to the way I drilled it, so the holes are very slightly out, which causes the dimples not to sit into the countersinks as well as I'd like. It is *real* close, and maybe I'm being too picky, but I'm annoyed anyway. Tomorrow I'll rivet the bits together and see how to use the rivet gun, hand squeezer and pneumatic squeezer.On the bright side; isn't this what the starter kit is for? I learned three valuable lessons today:-1. Don't rush2. Read the plans and properly identify rivets.3. Be CERTAIN before cutting, drilling, etc4. Mark the parts so they go back the same.
