Brief Description: Static air tube, HS fitting, wiring clamps
I've been mooching around in the shed for the last 3-4 hours but really I've only done an hour or so of work. I have a terrific cold at the moment with my nose blocked and running like an olympian at the same time, so I'm not really being very effective. Anyway, I installed some adel clamps onto the little angle brackets I had riveted to the F-809 bulkhead and also installed the static air tube between the two Safeair1 static ports on either side of the fuse. I put some clear PVC tube over the last few inches before the fittings to prevent chaffing against the bulkhead & rivets. I don't have the tube for the forward run yet (I need to get some from Safeair) but I wasn't going to run it yet anyway, so no real problem.
We also re-fitted the horizontal stabilizer and worked out the path for the electric elevator trim wire (part# 11-01577 from Aircraft Spruce). I drilled a hole in the F-810 bulkhead for a snap bushing and lined the first lightening hole in the inboard rib with rubber U-channel. There's also a snap bushing in the hole in the horizontal stabilizer rear spar between the two reinforcing bars.
