Brief Description: Tom Clark fastback - rivet top skin
Jackie and I got out to the shed tonight and riveted the seatbelt brackets and the two middle bulkheads. Turned out 'ok', but what we have noticed is that the skin is kind of 'dimpled' around some of the rivets. This is obviously because there was a slight (unseen) gap between the skin and the bulkhead flange and they have now been pulled tightly together. Unfortunately we didn't see thsi when the structure was cleco'd together because teh cleco's don't hold tight enough and it was easy to see inside the fuselage. As I said, its 'ok', but we're kinda hoping it won't be quite so noticeable once painted.
