Date:  11-10-2007
Number of Hours:  2.00
Manual Reference:  8-37
Brief Description:  Rivet bottom skin & bulkheads

I went to the annual Sport Aircraft Association Black Sands Fly-In at Raglan today. Good turn out in general, but not that many RVs. That's pretty typical of NZ though. I think there was one RV-7A, two RV-6's and three RV-4s. Maybe one year we'll be able to add an RV-8 to that list! An hour later (two 'man-hours', remember) we had the F-807, F-808 and bagge ribs riveted to the F-842 bottom skin. Only two more bulkheads to go (F-809 and F-810) and then we can flip the fuselage back over again. We're going to see if we can do that tomorrow evening when I return from skydiving. Won't be much going on next week though: I have an exam Friday that I need to get head down for...
