Rivetted together the main sub-structure of the seat rib sub-assembly. As with last night, I cut down some -5 rivets for the seat rib angles and forward inboard ribs. However, when it came to the aft inboard ribs, I decided to give straight -5s a go since I was driving them and not squeezing them: they worked out just fine, so I'm not sure why Vans didn't specify them in the first place. Ah well.
I have also cleco'd the bottom skins onto the sub-structure, but I can't get any rivetting help for a few days so tomorrow I will take a look at the highly-scary longeron bending section: eek!
BTW, a piece of trivia: that third picture is the 100th photo I've taken of fuselage construction, and really, I've barely started!!
