Brief Description:  Seat rib sub-assemb;y

All I managed to do tonight was get the seat-rib sub-assembly clamped to the drill press to have the end holes drilled. Unfortunately the AB4-250 spacer material that I was missing from my kit still hasn't arrived from Vans so I can't get any further at the moment.

I had every intention of doing a decent amount of work tonight, and was even looking forward to it all day. Then when the time actually came I struggled to find the enthusiasm. I eventually dragged myself out to the shop and made a start. Then I realised I still did have the spacers and I needed them. I decided to get everything set up anyway, and while sanding a piece of wood back to 1/4" to use as a spacer at the very end (you can see it clamped in the picture), I went and sanded the skin off the end of my finger. Whatever enthusiasm I had left must have leaked out with the blood, so I gave up and went back inside to upload the picture and type up this kitlog.

It gets better of course: yes I work in the computer industry, and yes, its my middle typing finger on my right hand. Ouch! Work for the next few days will be an awkward experience. Just typing this log entry has taken longer than usual and resulted in several unexpected typos which I've had to go back and corrcet. Dammit. :-(
