I haven't logged any time against this since all I did was find all the parts for the next section and cleco them together to see how things fitted. I can't continue with the center section assembly for the moment because I don't have my wing spar spacers (they're being made for me out of aluminium block rather than hardwood).
After assembling this, er, sub-assembly, it was interesting to see how it fits with what we have already done. It attaches to the forward floor assembly with the two center sections and the angled seat ribs. It was also interesting to note the distance and relationship between the main wing spar and aft wing spar attach points. Finally, since I am using the custom Hooker Harnesses I will need to bend the seat belt attach brackets to accomodate the slightly wider fitting of the Hookers. I shall need to measure and bend carefully to make sure I retain the alignment of the attach bolt holes. All in all, an interesting exercise.
