Sorted out those two nutplate locations I was concerned about: since they fell within the marked boundary on DWG 61 for dimpling and countersinking I did exactly that! Jackie and I then deburred all the parts and scotchbrighted ready for priming later this afternoon.
So I had enough priming to be worthwhile and to give me a whole week of evenings riveting, I elected to prepare the cooling ramp for priming as well. Once that was done, and everything match drilled, deburred, etc, I went ahead and primered everything.
Finally, Jackie used the dremel to make short work of edge-finishing the firewall. And after all that we're going out for a steak meal at a local steakhouse that recently opened nearby. I'll tell you what it was like tomorrow, if I remember :-)
