I was sorting out the parts for the floor when my good friend Derrick popped over to collect his computer that I had been working on. We chin-wagged for a while and then he agreed to help with working on the floor. Even Jackie came out later on and helped a little with some deburring (hence the 4.5 'man-hours' logged).
We did well. The two crossmembers need to be edge-finished, as done the main floor skin, but otherwise most of these bits are ready for primer. The only question I have is about the two nutplates on the forward crossmember. Looking at the construction it seems to make sense to drill and dimple/countersink now for the nutplates. However, the instructions are not explicit in saying they need to be done. A quick question on the forums will no doubt turn up the answer, and then I can get moving again. I'll have to primer during the week, since I'm very likely skydiving all day tomorrow.
