Made up the W-818 aileron pushrods tonight. Relatively straight forward except for when it came to riveting the ends on. I drilled out the same AN470AD4-12 rivet SEVEN times before I decided I was never going to do it!! The darn thing just kept keeling over on me, and one of them sheared off completely!! Off to the Internet I went to find out that most people were using -11's. So I did, and they went in just sweet. Not sure why Vans specify the longer rivet when the shorter one makes a perfectly acceptable shop head that meets the required specs. Anyway, job done :-)
