As I mentioned in the previous post, Jackie and I got both the right aileron and the right flap completed today. That's good; its a another minor milestone in the construction. I need to spend the next week studying for an exam (yep, another one!) and after that we'll look at assembling the ailerons & flaps to the wings. Not sure how this will go; as I mentioned before (I think) we have already riveted the flap brace to the wing rear spar, so countersinking the holes in the flap brace for the skin dimples will be very difficult. We intend to dimple the hinge and hop it comes out straight; some other builders have succeeded in doing this. Just in case though, when I order my fuselage kit in a week or so, I'll order a replacement hinge at the same time. Hopefully I'll end up not needing it, but we'll see. Until next week then...
