Started the right flap today. All was going well until I made a slight mistake while cutting the hinge to length. Basically, I cut the hinge too short. I was trying to take the actuator bracket into account to avoid inteference between the hinge and the bracket like I had on the left flap. Unfortunately, I cut the whole hinge, whereas on the left flap I cut the eye down but left the 'tab' longer. The trouble here is that I have missed the end rivet hole and thus have had to 'insert' another rivet to hold the end of the hinge. I'll also have to shape the end of the hinge to enable me to buck the end rivet. Bugger. Ah well, never mind. Got the whole flap assembled with the except of the FL-406 brackets which I need to fabricate. I'll do those tomorrow or during the week maybe.
