Riveted the K1000-3 nutplates to the fuel tank attach angles. Installed the fuel tank onto the wing. Fitted all the spar attach AN3 bolts first, then torque'd them up. Then fitted the 8R8 screws that attach through the skin, and torque'd them up too. Recorded the torque values and date in my 'RV-8 Torque Record'. The fuel tank is now done. Almost anyway, I have yet to remove and re-proseal the access panel screws in the inboard rib; they're not leaking, but I want to make 100% sure they don't in the future. Once they have been re-sealed and have set up, the end rib will be primered over like the rest. Only the top skins to rivet on now and then it can come off the jig and the jig taken down; a minor milestone that I'm quite looking forward to :-)
