Manual Reference:  7-3
Brief Description:  Riveting wing skeleton

I spent the first hour by myself deburring the holes in the main spar, marking the ribs and assembling them back into their correct location. I then proceeded to rivet the third inboard rib (number 11 in my numbering scheme) but found that a) it hurt my wrist only using one hand to hold the gun, b) the bucking bar would slip around more than I'd like, and c) I was not going to be doing a good job! I had to drill out one rivet that I wasn't at all happy with, and I marked the spar a little too. Actually, the mark is barely noticeable, but *I* know its there. Anyway, we had dinner, took Chester for a walk and then Jackie came out and bucked while I shot. It went *much* better and even though we had to drill out another two that we flattened, they were generally very good rivets. Half way through the main spar, so tomorrow we'll finish it off and then go for the rear spar. After that, its into the jig for alignment and skin fitting...
