Brief Description:  Leading edge landing light

At last. Just over 8 hrs I finally have ONE leading edge light fitted! I'm sure I read it should be a lot quicker than that! Still, my first one, and I'm very pleased with it. Today's job were: rivet the nutplates to the reinforcing strips; stick the foam seal inside the leading edge cutout; disassemble the driving lamp and install the reflector into the mount; fit the reinforcing strips onto the lens; install the mount (with reflector) into the leading edge; and finally install the lens. I may have one last job, but I need to get some clarification on it: that is, how to go about doing the ground wire. I know absolutely zilch about electrics and aircraft standards of. I know the wire gets bolted to a wing rib, but I want to know exactly how, and I want to do it soon before I finally rivet the leading edge to the spar. Taking Chester for a walk now while the rain has stopped, but when I get back I'll decide on the next job: maybe countersink the spar...
