Eventually successful but not without problems: had a blonde evening. Riveted the W-726 spacers to the W-731. Messed up three rivets and had to drill them out. Put new ones in. Then realised I had completely forgotten to put the nutplates on. Drilled out all the rivets and re-did them with nutplates. Had to replace one of those too! Bolted the tiedown assembly with the W-823PP aileron bellcrank brackets onto the spar. Torqued the AN365-1032 nuts and the AN3-6A bolts to 25 inch-lbs. So a lot of time and nothing much really completed. Ah, well, nothing major and you get evenings like that... will start on the rear spar tomorrow night.
