Started making the tie-down assembly but caught short. Twice. I don't have a 3/16" x 16 tap and nor do I have a 1"/25mm hole saw or cutter to make the holes in the spacers. I can probably get the hole saw at the local hardware store, but I doubt very much I'll get the tap on a Sunday. Time for a spot of lunch and then I'll pop out to the store.... got my hole saw but not the tap. Made the W-726 spacers, match drilled to the spar with the W-731 tie down, fitted and drilled for nutplates and finally countersunk the spar side of the spacer for the AN426D3 rivets. Next job is to cleanup, prime, rivet the nutplates on and then assemble to the spar. That's a tomorrow night job.
