I can finally called the empennage complete. Roughly shaped and sanded the HS & VS tips this evening and fitted them using the specified CSK4-4 blind rivets. They'll need plenty of filling and sanding before they get painted but are basically ok. Jackie will now make some covers for the HS & VS and then they'll get mounted in our long-term storage facility (hallway!) until they need to be fitted to the fuselage.
