Brief Description:  Canopy fitting

I went out at lunch time today and bought some cyano and a load more clamps for when we do the canopy. So tonight I was able to fit the spacers on the canopy frame that will provide the gap for the SIKA bond. They are cut from soft rubber strip about ¼" high and ⅜" wide which has a slightly curved bottom surface that fits the radius of the canopy frame quite well. They are cyano'd in place. When they are clamped they compress to just about ⅛" thick; just right. There are 24 of them, each just a little under 1" wide to suit the width of the clamps. I haven't put any onto the front hoop yet. I'll drop the canopy on there first, see how we are and then add some to the front hoop if necessary for correct alignment. I hope I have them in the right place!
