Brief Description: Instrument panel access door mod
The door is now cut to shape and overlaps the cutout in the panel by 15mm. I have ten nutplates along the top (spaced to avoid the stiffening beads) and will have two on each side. I'm still a little undecided about whether to make a doubler, or if I do whether it should be made from .025" or .040"; the assem,bly is pretty strong as it is. Even so, I'm tending towards doing one, probably out of .040"; just seems to be the right thing to do and would make me feel a little better about the strength.
