Despite being at home most of the day, I did very little work on the plane. Actually, I was on my way to the parachute club this morning, but my journey was cut short just 10Kms from home. Some idiot coming the other way turfed something out of their car which bounced once before I collected it. Witha closing speed of some 200km/hr or so, it has put a lovely hole in my radiator. Rather than carry on to the parachute club, which is an hour away, I decided to call them and explain I couldn't make it and then get home before I lost what little water was left in the radiator. On the bright side, its a work vehicle, so I won't have to foot the repair bill :-) Dampened my spirits for the day, though, which is probably why I didn't get much done.Between us, Jackie and I matched drilled the bottom wing skins to the wing skeleton, including drilling the three access panels. #19 for the #8 screws around the edges, and #27 for the #6 screws in the main spar. Tomorrow we'll remove the inboard skin, and then fit the top skins and match drill those. I also need to trim down the wing walk doubler.
