Brief Description:  Wing ribs and jig/stand

Drilled all the holes in the ribs for the wiring conduit. Could determine exactly what was required for the pitot tubing since I am using Evans Aviation pitot tube and not the sorry excuse for a pitot tube that Vans supplies. However, I could ascertain exactly what was needed for the actual tubing run back to the fuselage. So I've sent a quick enquiry to Evan and hold off on that job until I hear back. Better safe than sorry. Meanwhile, back in the jungle, I decided to mount the main spar onto the wing stand and assemble the ribs I've done so far. That actually took longer than expected since I had to make an extra bracket, and get everything level and square. Looks kinda cool though! Not sure about the outboard end only being held up by a couple of bolts so I'm leaving my clamps in place for the time being. Hopefully I'll hear back from Evan by tomorrow evening and can get on with drilling the remaining ribs for the pitot tube run. Otherwise I'll just get on with match drilling the ones I've done already. Not sure about the final W-709-L rib yet; it has no holes in the flanges at all and so I haven't yet done anything with it. I don't know where to flute it since I don't know where any of the holes go (and hence can't avoid them). I'll either just leave this until I find out, or dig out the leading edge skin and see if there are holes on that that can guide me.
