1) Of course to preserve the barrels, I had to pull the pistons out. They needed the preserving process too with spray lithium grease, and into sealed bags for the duration. At the time I didn t know how long the wait was for the case. All iron items...crank, cam, lifters and bodys, were treated the same. The crank was stored in the vertical position which is the prefurred way for long term storage( a couple of months).
As soon as I get done with the wiring on the cockpit area and the pannel, I will return to the engine and get it in process! I am getting closer to the day when it will make its own noise!!
