Brief Description:  wiring progress

1-- Well, there has been a lot more work here than I can type, but this shows the final relationship of the ELT and COM coax routing, and if you look closely, the location of the headset connections at the apex of the first former. Bear in mind that this is looking 'up' from the belly, to the inside of the turtle deck first bay, on top of which is the com antenna shown previously. Most whip antennal have a single connection for the coax, under a nut and washer. Most installs dont have a little shield box to surround that connection, and without it, stray signals can be heard, namely strobes, ignition and other things that are unwanted. I took a bit of care to make said shield box and install it with a wilke button for access, and that is what you see on the very center-right of this picture. Of course the elevator pushrod is in the foreground, The bowden cable mentioned prevously is shown coiled up to the left, on its way to the forward side of the instrument/control pannel at a much later date! Whew!!

2---Again on the RH side viewingtoward the top, but showing the E:LE shelf bottom side, and routing of the ELE remote control harnass towards the RH side of the instrument pannel, at a later date. the red tape shows where there is blood left behind. then I got smart and covered the points with tape anyway!

3---This view is from the top looking down just above the spar tunnel, and some support material that nestles the intercom control box. This is approx at the pilots knee/lower thigh, and should be a good place. I am just now today (3/20/14) beginning the wiring of its connector. I have forgotten to take pictures of todays work! Maybe I can remember to do that tomorrow, and get it on here before I forget again!

Thats all for tonight!
