Brief Description:  Fabric Cracking

Over the past 160 hours, the left kick panel fabric started cracking. This is the fabric just below the aft door pillar and occurs at the edge of the forward bend of the fuselage panel, despite taping extending past the cracked area. The right side doesn't have that problem, so I presume it has something to do with prop wash. Some of the paint had actually cracked off with the Poly-Spray. I used a fine modeller's brush to reconstitute the Poly-Spray (which provides UV protection to the fabric). I then used 400 grit sandpaper to wet sand the cracks, and followed it with three coats of Poly-Fiber Rejuvenator and a couple coats of Aero-tone. To hopefully decrease the crack occurence in the future, I placed some 3/4" closed foam self-adhesive weatherstrip over the course of the steel edge, which hopefully will dampen the stress on the fabric and paint.
