Mounted Hap Miller battery holders as far forward on airframe as possible. This location is based on pilot weight and will be verified by a CG hang test, later. Other builders have used copper bar stock to connect the various battery cables. I cut 21/2" lengths of 1"x1/4" stock and then bent them 90 deg. Next, I drilled and tapped 10/32" holes to connect the cables. Finally, I drilled a 1/4" hole for the terminal connection. Spent a fair amount of time fabricating and routing the cables. On final assembly, I will use socket head cap screws saftied to each other.
