I fabricated the battery box. I originally was going to follow the design on the plan sheet exactly, but I ended up modifying it a bit because of a mistake I made. I bent the flanges along the top edge of the box at too small a radius, and ended up with cracks along the bend. I just used a band saw to cut the top 1/2" off the box. I made a new flap to cover the top of the battery and keep it from falling out. Overall it ended up turning out pretty nicely.
