My experiment with spray painting the wheel pants didn't turn out too well. One of the wheel pants was blown off my makeshift ladder painting stand, and it was chipped from hitting the sidewalk. I had to sand and fill the damaged area. I decided to just sand both wheel pants entirely, as the spray paint wasn't providing a nice texture anyway (plus the color was off, it didn't match the blue on the wings). They are both nice and smooth and filled and ready for paint. I just need to find someone with a paint booth and equipment I can borrow.
