I think I have my oil leak fixed. I removed the pump and made sure the mating suraces were nice and flat. I ordered new gaskets online and got everything put back together. I ran the engine with the cowl on so oil wouldn't be blown around if it was still leaking. The picture shows the location of the leak before I fixed it. I ran the engine and it appears that I no longer have a leak. now that that's done, I think things are pretty solid. The engine is continuing to run very well with easy starting and good throttle response.
